The ss Rotterdam has a sustainable policy that aims to deal with humans, the environment and the planet. In the catering and recreation industry it is possible to obtain a Green Key brand for this. The ss Rotterdam has been awarded the Golden Green Key certification since 2016.
Sustainability measures ss Rotterdam
The ss Rotterdam has undertaken several sustainability measures to achieve the Golden Green Key. For example, the ship has a modified lighting plan, with the aim of reducing consumption of electricity. Also, the showers in the hotel rooms save water.
At the car park of the ss Rotterdam, there are two charging points for electric vehicles. It is also possible for hotel guests to charge electric bicycles for free and to rent electric scooters. In addition, all the prints are made of sustainable materials.
