Is the ss Rotterdam open?
Yes, the ss Rotterdam is open! We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful ship.
The end is near! We still have to persevere with each other and that is why the ss Rotterdam still applies a number of basic rules. Appropriate distance is still very important. For this reason, there is one-way traffic on board, we use a maximum of 1 person per lift and a maximum of 2 persons may be present in a toilet group at the same time. Wash your hands regularly and stay at home if you have complaints. Health check on arrival remains mandatory.
The ss Rotterdam is happy to welcome hotel guests on board. Hotel guests from abroad must be able to show a negative Covid test for a maximum of 48 hours at check-in. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Lido Grill restaurant based on availabilty. Pick-up of meals to eat in the room will also remain available.
Lido Grill restaurant
There is a possibility to have a delicious breakfast in our Lido Grill restaurant. For breaksfast the restaurant is open from 07:00 AM to 11:00 AM. When you check in, you will be assigned a time slot to regulate the number of guests. Every day there is the possibility to have lunch between 12 o’clock in the afternoon and 04:00 PM. Dinner is possible from 05:00 PM to 10:00 PM. It is mandatory to make a reservation for lunch and dinner and possible in different shifts. You can make a reservation via this website.
The ss Rotterdam has its own terrace; the largest and most beautiful in Rotterdam. We can welcome you again on our Lido Terrace. Here it is wonderful to relax and enjoy; looking at the skyline of Rotterdam. Open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. We do not reserve on the terrace. A reservation can be made immediately upon arrival. This is based on availability and a health check.
The Captains Lounge bar is open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. In good weather, we open the bar from 03:00 PM to 10:00 PM. It is not necessary to make a reservation, this is based on availability. Pay attention! Reservations must be made for a High Tea. The High Tea is possible to 03:00 PM or 03:30 PM to 05:00 PM.
Ocean Wine Bar
The Ocean Wine Bar is open again! On Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, the bar is open from 04:00 PM to 10:00 PM. It is not necessary to make a reservation. This can be done upon arrival and is subject to availability. In good weather, the Ocean Wine Bar remains closed and the Ocean Wine Bar opens on the Lido Terrace. Unfortunately, there is no High Wine possible in the Ocean Wine Bar yet.
We can welcome you again for our escape rooms. Reserving an escape room is on request. For this you can contact us by phone at: +3110 – 297 30 97. It is possible up to a maximum of 8 persons.
The audiophone tours are again possible on board. It is not mandatory to book in advance. You make a reservation on the spot and is based on availability. The audiophone tours are available daily between 10:00 AM and 04:00 PM. Guided tours are available on request. We allow 100 people at the same time. We allow 8 people per hour at the same time at the Steam & Chrome tour. It is not possible to book in advance. During the weekend this tour departs every half hour. The Experience Center is closed until further notice.
Meetings & Events
It’s party time again! At 1.5 meters away with a fixed seat, we can rent out our beautiful rooms for your meetings or events. Ask your question to our Account Managers of the Meetings & Events department and they will contact you as soon as possible!
Our shop is open daily on board the ss Rotterdam from 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM. In our shop there are nice souvenirs for sale and is also the starting point of the audiophone tour.
Can I cancel my reservation (free of charge)?
Different conditions apply to every reservation. You will find the conditions that apply to your booking in the confirmation that you have received from our Reservation Department or from the travel agent with whom you have booked.
